Here at the H & C we aim to create a warm, friendly & lively atmosphere where as soon as you step through the doors you can’t help but get caught up in the old pub’s charm. Dating back to the 17th century this old inn has been lovingly redesigned whilst keeping in touch with its tradition.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer a ‘restaurant’ experience within the cosy confines of our real pub. In our restaurant you'll find the market menu which changes weekly, a refreshing change which offers something fresh and exciting each time you visit! We are also part of the taste scheme, terms and conditions apply. From a full three course meal or a snack in the bar with a pint you’ll find it hard not to find an excuse to keep coming back!
